Stormzy’s album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ officially claimed the number one spot in the UK charts after a close battle with Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s effort ‘Human’. Released on February 24, the rapper’s debut is the fastest-selling grime album ever, beating Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’, Kano’s ‘Made in the Manor’ and Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Boy In Da Corner’. Ed Sheeran has announced a 59-date 2017 North American Arena Tour. Scheduled to start June 29th 2017 at Kansas City's Sprint Centre, the tour is expected to conclude October 6th in Nashville, Tennessee. Pre-sale tickets for the tour were made available on March 13th from Ticketmaster, the general on-sale then followed on March 17th. While Sheeran will play North American arenas this tour, the singer told the Rolling Stone magazine that he has even bigger aspirations. "I want to do stadiums everywhere," Sheeran said. "Like George Strait's level – he tours every four years, does a couple of stadiums and then fucks off again."

Leona has been announced as the new 2017 ambassador for MTV Staying Alive. Ambassadors & performers over the years include Beyoncé, Diddy, George Michael, Tinie Tempah & more. All of whom have helped the charity in the global fight against HIV. During an interview Leona said “It is a great honour to be working with MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation as an ambassador. I’m eager to raise awareness of the ongoing global HIV crisis. By empowering young people with knowledge about the disease – particularly women & girls who are disproportionately affected – we can help treat it & ultimately prevent it altogether.” The foundation plans to continue their mission of building an empowered & educated generation of young people, equipped with the knowledge & tools to protect each other from HIV.
